The University of Findlay is proud to have two concert band options for its students: the UF Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band. String players are welcome in our concert ensembles!
UF Wind Ensemble: MUSC 199.01 T/TH 4:30-5:30PM (starts 10/13/25)
The Wind Ensemble is comprised of students from across all majors. The Wind Ensemble tackles challenging and exciting repertoire for students who want to take their music education to the next level. A brief audition is required to ensure placement in the ensemble. Scholarships are available. Concert bands do not start until after Fall midterms!
UF Symphonic Band: MUSC 191.01 M 7:00-9:00PM (starts 10/12/25)
The Symphonic Band is comprised of students and community members. The band plays a mix of contemporary and traditional band literature as well as marches, patriotic music, Broadway show tunes, and other “pops” literature. Scholarships are available for students. Concert bands do not start until after Fall midterms!
